Clarion was selected to work in partnership with Ealing Council to regenerate Sherwood Close, following the Council's consultation with residents.
The consultation found that demolition and redevelopment was the only viable solution for the future of the 1970s estate, which was in poor structural condition with many inherent design flaws.
Further consultation on the masterplan and designs for the estate has taken place with residents, neighbours and local stakeholders through a range of forums. Every resident will have the right to return to the estate, as well as advice and assistance if they seek a new form of tenure.
In total, 298 homes will be built at Sherwood Close, including 184 homes for market sale and 114 for affordable home ownership / rent.
