Introducing our charitable foundation - Clarion Futures
Clarion Housing Group is a business for social purpose and at the core of our group is Clarion Futures, a charitable foundation that will invest £150 million over ten years in providing support, skills and opportunities to more than 360,000 social housing residents across the UK.
Clarion Futures exists because we want to play a prominent role in helping our residents to develop their futures and maximise the opportunities available to them. We are working in a challenging environment; welfare reforms have tightened the financial squeeze and many of our residents are vulnerable, owing to personal and family circumstances, unemployment and a lack of the skills required to compete in a fast changing job market. Our mission is to provide people with the tools and support they need to overcome their challenges, transforming lives and communities for the better.
Clarion Futures is a new identity for us, but our social mission has always been at the core of the organisation. We can’t solve every challenge our residents face, but we are clear on where our energy should be focused. Clarion Futures has three core constituent parts, focused on communities, jobs and money management.
Our scale, reach and diversity makes Clarion Futures one the largest programmes of its kind in the UK. There are few other charitable organisations which provide the combination of support and geographical reach we do across the country.
Clarion Futures is committed to delivering £1billion of social value over the next decade, transforming hundreds of communities and tens of thousands of lives in the process.
