Friese Green House provides 100% affordable rented housing, along with a GP surgery, pharmacy and commercial space on the site of a former bingo hall that had fallen into disrepair.
Clarion can draw on over 100 years experience of developing affordable homes for rent and more than 25 years of helping people step on the property ladder.
We work closely with the Homes and Communities Agency, Greater London Authority and local authority partners as well as through our own reserves to deliver a substantial affordable homes programme.
In the last year we:
- Delivered over 1,000 new homes for social/affordable rent
- Completed 495 new homes for Shared Ownership
Our continued commitment to delivering affordable homes, which will make up around two thirds of our programme, is possible because of our financial strength and not reliant on any government subsidy.
Our affordable homes portfolio of over 125,000 homes spans from Newcastle in the North East to Plymouth in the South West, with significant stock groupings in many of the major towns and cities inbetween.
We aim to provide great customer service to our residents, as well as support for those in need. We also manage and maintain our homes to a high standard through our investment and improvement programmes.
