Creating 2,600 mixed tenure homes across three Estates in the London Borough of Merton, including the replacement of 1,200 existing homes
We offer high quality, innovative regeneration skills, an excellent understanding of community issues and needs together with a proven track record in delivering successful schemes.
One of the first to adopt a cross subsidy approach to funding, our experience includes the regeneration of our own estates and of working in close partnership with local authorities. We understand that there is no one size fits all approach to regeneration. For example, we are currently working with Westminster City Council and Southwark Council as a development partner, through which the affordable housing will be passed back to the Council on completion. We also recognise the need for good quality engagement with existing residents and the local community and our dedicated liaison team lead on this.
Our regeneration work is complemented and enhanced by Clarion Futures, who lead on developing resident led community centres, providing work and training opportunities and tackling digital and financial inclusion. Community grants also provide opportunities for residents to lead on projects that make a real difference in their communities.
- Investing £2.6 billion on regenerating our existing Estates.
- Currently on site or about to start on site on three major regeneration projects delivering some 1,500 homes.
- At the planning/preplanning stage for a further five schemes, including one in Plymouth.
- Creating better life chances for residents – last year we supported over 900 people into work and 100 into training; awarded 35 community grants and helped 3,824 people get online.
