Green light for 180 new affordable homes at Argenta House in Stonebridge Park

The over £90 million development will provide a mix of 88 homes for social rent and 92 shared ownership homes.

Argenta House (Stonebridge Park) LLP, which is a partnership between Latimer, the development arm of Clarion Housing Group and Cervidae, has received planning permission from the London Borough of Brent to deliver 180 new affordable homes, helping to turn a vacant site into a thriving new community at the heart of Stonebridge Park.

The newly designed scheme will kick-start regeneration of the wider site opposite Stonebridge Park station. The over £90 million development will provide a mix of 88 homes for social rent and 92 shared ownership homes, helping to meet local housing need and creating a vibrant, inclusive neighbourhood.

Designed with sustainability and high-quality homes in mind, the new scheme replaces a previously stalled project which has been carefully reworked to increase the overall number of homes, including family sized units, whilst also enhancing the public realm and contributing significantly to an improved Stonebridge Park neighbourhood.

Richard Cook, Chief Development Officer at Clarion Housing Group, said:

“We are pleased that Argenta House has received planning approval. This is an excellent example of how strong partnerships and a shared commitment to quality, design and affordability can bring forward new homes that will make a real difference to local people. We’re proud to be delivering a 100% affordable scheme that supports Brent’s housing ambitions and contributes to a thriving, sustainable community.”
