Clarion Housing Group has made changes to its senior leadership team following the successful completion of the merger between Affinity Sutton and Circle Housing.
Feedback from stakeholders suggested some overlapping responsibilities between executive roles in Latimer (the development and commercial arm) and the Clarion Housing Group itself. After some deliberation, the Group Board has agreed to simplify the executive structure of Latimer with revised arrangements to be finalised shortly. Mark Rogers will therefore be leaving the group at the end of the month.
Mark is totally supportive of these changes and leaves with the best wishes of the Board and his executive colleagues.
Clarion Housing Group Chief Executive, Keith Exford, said:
“Mark Rogers leaves an organisation he played a key role in helping to create; more than that, as the new executive team began our work in shaping the new organisation and planning its future, Mark was imaginative and innovative, bringing real strategic insight to our work and making a major contribution to mapping the way forward.
“Mark leaves the Group with the thanks and good wishes of his board and executive colleagues for his contribution to successfully growing Circle over 13 years and the creation of Clarion Housing Group. Under Mark’s guidance, our commercial subsidiary, Latimer, has already established a growing pipeline of homes and potential sites with over 5000 new homes now on site. This is a great start to our ambitions to develop 50,000 new homes over a decade.”
