Clarion Housing Group, the UK’s largest housing association, has celebrated the opening of its new office at Reed House in Broadland Business Park, Norwich.
Clarion, formed from the recent merger between Circle Housing and Affinity Sutton, has relocated staff from former offices at St Andrews Business Park, where Circle Housing teams were based for over twenty years.
The 123,000 home housing association, which celebrated the office opening at an event last Wednesday (31st May), will be carrying out many of its key operations in Norwich, becoming one of the city’s largest employers with over 600 jobs based at the new site.
Clarion occupies the first three floors at Reed House, whilst the top floor remains let to healthcare specialist IC24. The building was originally developed for Insurance company Aviva, who vacated the site a few year ago.
The move means Norwich based teams are now all under one roof, with more meeting rooms, new quiet booths and a kitchenette and breakout area which seats over 100 people.
Jonathan Cawthra, Group Resources Director of Clarion Housing Group said: “This is a key mile stone for Clarion Housing Group. Due to the success of the previous Norwich base we made the decision to consolidate our operations here and in time expect to become an even bigger employer in the city occupying this fantastic new space at Reed House.”
