Clarion Housing Group has been awarded a place for the procurement of work to deliver residential-led development on public sector land.
The Homes and Communities Agency (HCA) yesterday unveiled its Delivery Partner Panel 3 (DPP3) list. The list, which runs for four years, is free to use for government departments, NHS trusts, schools and universities, councils, housing associations and other public bodies seeking partners for residential developments on their land.
DPP3 consists of 70 leading national and regional housing developers and contractors and includes all activities necessary to construct housing and associated infrastructure, ranging from development and disposal of sites for residential use, to marketing and sales of homes.
Clarion on five regional panels
The HCA has awarded Clarion a place on five regional panels - South/South West, North West, North East/ Yorkshire and Humberside, Midlands and East/South East. This comes shortly after it was announced that Clarion is entering a strategic partnership with the Mayor of London to deliver at least 5,000 high quality, new affordable homes in the capital by 2021.
Earlier this year it was confirmed that Clarion will receive £60.4m to build 1,998 homes – the third largest allocation - under the HCA’s Shared Ownership and Affordable Homes Programme 2016 to 2021.
