Latimer has announced that it will develop 54 new homes in Surrey working with Thakeham Homes.
Clarion Housing Group’s development arm has secured the nine acre site in Cranleigh, near Guildford that will deliver 38 homes for private sale, nine homes for shared ownership and seven homes for affordable rent on the land off Elmbridge Road.
The homes will range from one-bedroom apartments through to four-bedroom family homes. The scheme has a Gross Development Value of around £25m.
Earlier this year, Latimer announced that it is working with Thakeham Homes to turn a former industrial site in Elstead into 69 new homes.
Richard White, Director of Land and Planning for Latimer, part of Clarion Housing Group said:
"Our latest development further underlines our commitment to building high quality new homes in the area and complements our other recent land deal at Elstead.
"Working closely with Thakeham Homes and Waverley Borough Council, we are looking forward to transforming the site into high-quality new homes".
Robert Boughton, Group Managing Director for Thakeham Group said:
"We are delighted to be working once again with Latimer. This project will deliver a mix of high quality residential development in a desirable Surrey location where the demand for homes is high".
Work on site will start this summer, with completion planned for early 2020.
The site is located 1.4 miles from Cranleigh centre and comes with planning permission.
