Latimer’s own stamp duty incentive saves buyers thousands of pounds

Latimer Stamp DutyFirst-time buyers will save thousands of pounds, thanks to Latimer’s own stamp duty giveaway at its scheme in Walthamstow.

In this week’s Budget the Chancellor announced the abolition of stamp duty for first-time buyers across the country, for purchases priced under £300,000. In London, the exemption is available on the first £300,000 spent on properties valued up to £500,000.

Latimer – part of Clarion Housing Group – has gone one step further to help first-time buyers by offering to pay all of their stamp duty costs.

Homes at the scheme start at £400,000 and a mix of attractive two- and three-bedroom apartments are currently available.

Banbury Park will have landscaped community spaces, shops, offices, and a public square that will help to continue the regeneration of the area. Parking is also available on selected apartments.

Tim Seward, Director of Sales and Marketing for Latimer said: “The Chancellor’s Budget giveaway is an early Christmas present for those people who are struggling to get on the property ladder. At Latimer, we are passionate about helping first-time buyers on to the housing ladder and that is why we have gone even further with this incentive.  So instead of paying £5,000 stamp duty on a home worth £400,000, first-time buyers won’t have to pay a penny.

“Our new homes present a great opportunity to be part of this well connected and stylish community. Banbury Park also represents good value for money in comparison to other parts of the capital.”

The scheme boasts excellent transport links into central London - there are numerous bus connections from Billet Road to Walthamstow and Blackhorse Road tube station. It is also situated beside the north circular and a 10 minute drive from the M11.

According to CBRE’s annual Borough by Borough report, Waltham Forest has experienced the strongest house price growth of any London borough over the past five years. Over the next five years CBRE forecasts prices will rise another 17 per cent.

First-time buyers can take advantage on this incentive by contacting Latimer’s sales team on 020 8523 3294.

Help to Buy is also available on this scheme.
