Sector’s largest provider backs Shared Ownership Week
As a recent survey has revealed that over half of 21 to 30-year-olds have never heard of Shared Ownership, Clarion has joined forces with fellow London housing providers to champion the scheme.
Shared Ownership provides an alternative to first-time buyers wishing to get on the property ladder. Buyers purchase a share in the property –between 25% and 75% - and pay a reduced rent on the remainder. They can increase the share they own at a later stage until they own the property outright.
Clarion, the sector’s largest provider, is taking part in Shared Ownership Week (21 - 27th September 2017) – the national awareness campaign which promotes Shared Ownership – to spread the word about the scheme and show how it can be an important way of getting on the housing ladder.
Throughout Shared Ownership Week, Clarion will showcase its hottest new developments and feature buyers who were previously locked out of private market and chose to buy their home through Shared Ownership.

Clarion will also be exhibiting at The London Home Show (23rd September), which will be an opportunity for customers to get first hand advice from the Clarion team and book in appointments to view some of Clarion’s new homes. The London Home Show, hosted by Share to Buy, is held twice yearly and has attracted over 35,000 attendees to previous events.
The Autumn event takes place on the 23rd September at the Queen Elizabeth II Centre, Westminster, from 11am – 5pm. It’s free to attend, to register for a ticket, visit www.sharetobuy.com/homeshow.
