Clarion appoints new Housing Association Board member

Clarion Housing Group has appointed Andrew Murray to its Housing Association Board.

Clarion has appointed Andrew Murray, former partner at legal firm Winckworth Sherwood, to join its Housing Association Board.

Andrew joins the Board with more than 25 years’ experience in advising on major housing projects, with particular expertise in regeneration, in mergers and in establishing new organisations.

Andrew was lead partner for Genesis on the Woodberry Down regeneration project in Hackney, involving more than 1,000 new homes and acted for a joint venture between a national house-builder and multi-national contractor on a major scheme delivering a new college and 360 new homes.

Invaluable appointment

Commenting on the appointment, David Orr, Chair of Clarion’s Housing Association Board, said:
