Clarion Housing to deliver 125 affordable homes in East Sussex
Clarion Housing Group have awarded a contract to Thakeham Client to build 125 new affordable homes in Portslade, East Sussex.
Clarion Housing has awarded a £24m contract to Thakeham Client to build 125 new affordable homes in East Sussex.
The development on Graham Avenue in Portslade is a greenfield site close to the A27. Work on the first phase will begin in June 2019 and development will be completed in May 2022.
The project will focus on the affordable housing needs of the area with 22% of homes for rent and 78% for shared ownership. The entrance to the roundabout on Fox Way will be widened and a new footway on Mile Oak Road has been proposed.
