Green light for more than 160 new homes at Ebbsfleet

Clarion Housing Group’s plans for 163 new homes at Ebbsfleet Garden City have been approved.

Clarion’s plans for new homes at Ebbsfleet Garden City have been given the green light.

Ebbsfleet Development Corporation’s planning committee gave approval (on 17 October) to Clarion to build 163 shared ownership and affordable rented new homes. These are the last of Clarion’s 425 homes at Castle Hill to be approved.

Castle Hill is the first of three villages planned in Eastern Quarry which will have a total of up to 6,250 homes when complete, along with a new market square with shops, bars and restaurants, office space, a new primary and secondary education campus to serve the growing community, and a new park.

In total Clarion plans to deliver around 3,000 new homes across the entire Garden City, around 100 of which will be completed at the end of the year.
