Clarion Housing Group wins 2026 international sustainability award

The Sustainability Leadership Award recognises Clarion's climate action, social value impact and commitment to sustainable housing.

Clarion Housing Group has won a Business Intelligence Group sustainability award for 2026. The 2026 Sustainability Awards honour achievement across a broad range of industries and use cases, spotlighting the companies and leaders moving sustainability beyond commitments and into practical, accountable results. This year's Sustainability Awards program recognised 63 winners overall across nine categories and eight countries.

Clarion won the Sustainability Leadership Award for non-profit organisations. The category judges specifically noted Latimer’s independent recognition as the UK’s most sustainable not-for-profit housebuilder and Clarion being the first hosing association to publish a Climate Transition Plan as key examples of Clarion being at the forefront of implementing sustainable practices in the non-profit sector.

Clarion’s outstanding social value figures were also key in the decision. In 2024/25 Clarion invested £16.2 million into supporting residents and communities through Latimer, Clarion Futures and our partners. This investment generated a return of over £130 million in social value and saved residents an estimated £922,684 on household bills via energy-efficiency measures.
