Clarion named finalist in Reuters Global Sustainability Awards

Clarion’s 2024-2025 Making a Difference report has been shortlisted as a finalist at the Reuters Events Global Sustainability Awards 2026 in the Sustainability Reporting Excellence category.
The category, which received over 750 entries this year, aims to set a benchmark for best practices in sustainability reporting. The award recognises companies that have excelled in aligning their business strategies to meet the evolving demands of regulated sustainability reporting and leverage their reporting practices to shape business strategy and drive greater transparency.
Miles Lewis, DirectorHead of Sustainability at Clarion Housing Group, said:
"We’re proud to be recognised among the finalists in a highly competitive category. This shortlisting reflects Clarion’s commitment to delivering meaningful social and environmental impact, from leading the sector on climate transition planning to improving the energy efficiency of our homes. Our report demonstrates how we are turning ambition into action, delivering tangible benefits for residents, communities and the environment while driving greater transparency and accountability."
The 2024-2025 Making a Difference Report showcased how Clarion is going beyond simply complying with existing sustainability regulations by becoming the first UK housing association to deliver a climate transition plan, charting our path to net zero by 2050, while also delivering a £22m energy-efficiency retrofit scheme for our existing homes, and generating £130.3m in social value in 2024/25.
The final winner of the award will be announced on the 31st of October.
