Clarion regeneration schemes nominated for national awards

Two regeneration schemes led by Clarion Housing Group have been shortlisted for a national award.

Clarion’s schemes at Barne Barton, in Plymouth, and Eastfields, in Merton, have been nominated for this year’s Landscape Institute Awards.

The awards showcase the breadth of exceptional work across the landscape profession, including landscape design, planning, management and research.

At Barne Barton, Clarion plans to transform what was once the site of the largest naval estate in the country, introducing a mix of flats, houses and community spaces that create sustainable and vibrant places to live.

Eastfields is one of three estates in Merton to benefit from £1billion of investment. Clarion plans to deliver 800 new homes at Eastfields – an increase of 334 homes – as well as a new 275 sqm space for retail, leisure, office and community uses.

The awards will take place on 22nd November. View the full shortlist now.
