Our financial strength and stability, together with our track record in building new homes and creating communities, makes us a trusted and reputable development partner.
We work with major housebuilders and local authorities on joint ventures that enable us to develop more homes and build at scale. In 2020/21 alone we entered into three new joint ventures and by the end of that year we had 14 joint ventures underway.
Recent highlights include:
A £400m development at Collingtree, near Northampton, where we are working with the Vistry Group to build 1,000 homes – around a third of which will be affordable homes.
A £55m development at Harwick, near Cambridge, where we have partnered with award-winning housebuilder Hill to build 155 new homes – 40 per cent of which will be shared ownership or for affordable rent.
A joint venture with Bovis Homes to build approximately 1,500 homes at Sherford, a new town being created near Plymouth.
All of these projects will help us to continue to scale up our development programme and to build high quality homes in mixed and vibrant communities.
Some other examples of our joint ventures are below.
