Community Catalyst is our capacity building programme, offering a package of bespoke expert consultancy support and grant funding to charitable partners working in social housing communities.
Building on the success of the Resilience Programme, Community Catalyst represents a significant expansion of our capacity building model and will support 270 VCSEs over three years, backed by over £3 million in collective investment.
The programme is delivered by a consortium of housing associations and organisations, including the Fusion21 Foundation, Clarion Futures, Places for People, Peabody, and Metropolitan Thames Valley Housing. It is open to small non-profit, voluntary and community organisations working to have a positive impact for social housing residents and their communities, helping them scale their work, build capacity and strengthen long‑term sustainability.
Partners referred to the programme can access free, practical and impartial one to one consultancy support tailored to their needs. This can cover a range of developmental areas, including governance, organisational development, business planning, fundraising, financial management, volunteering, evaluation and more.
There may also be an opportunity to apply for a capacity building grant of up to £10,000 where this would meet an identified need.
