Celebrating differences
Clarion Housing Group promotes Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
We train our managers in unconscious bias as part of our commitment to ensuring equality of opportunity for all. This is on top of the training we provide to our people on diversity and inclusion.
We’ve several staff networks that provide support for colleagues. These include networks for:
- colleagues from ethnic minorities
- those with disabilities or long-term health conditions
- LGBTQIA+ colleagues
- people facing gender-related issues.
More than one in five of our staff are from ethnic minorities, reflecting the diversity of the communities we serve. Women make up 48% of our workforce and 62% of our Group Executive Team.
Our Diversity and Inclusion Advisory Group monitors our progress against agreed targets. It also reviews new initiatives.

“I’m committed to continue to build a workplace where everyone feels valued, can be themselves and know they can reach their full potential.”

Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion are part of our DNA and extend beyond our people and the residents we look after.
