Housing graduates

Join our housing graduate programme for a variety of roles in housing and neighbourhood management.

At Clarion, our housing teams are at the heart of our communities, supporting over 125,000 households across the country. If you're passionate about people, community, and creating real social impact, our two year Graduate Housing Programme is the perfect launchpad for your career.

You’ll dive straight into hands on experience through four six month rotations across key housing teams. Each placement is tailored to your location, interests, and ambitions, giving you a 360° understanding of how we aim to create safe, high quality homes and vibrant neighbourhoods.

One rotation might see you working with our Tenancy Management team, helping residents navigate challenges and ensuring our communities feel safe and supported. Another could place you in the Available Homes team, where you’ll take ownership of preparing properties for new tenants and work closely with our repairs teams to bring homes back to life. Another rotation might place you in regional operations, where you’ll turn data into improvements for our customers, or in case management, where you’ll support residents by coordinating with teams across the organisation.

Wherever your rotation takes you, you’ll be learning how to deliver services that make a meaningful difference every single day.

Young male employee in the office

You’ll work side-by-side with experienced housing professionals to understand what great customer service looks like in a social housing context. Your role could involve:

  • Bringing empty properties back into use and helping new tenants settle into their homes
  • Supporting customers through issues such as antisocial behaviour or safeguarding concerns
  • Building strong relationships with residents and partner agencies including the police, social services, and local authorities
  • Ensuring our estates are well maintained, welcoming, and safe.
  • Being point of contact for customers, and providing a bridge between customers and internal departments

You’ll develop technical knowledge (including housing law fundamentals) alongside vital people skills, and we’ll fund your Chartered Institute of Housing Level 4 qualification to support your progression.

Who are we looking for?

We're seeking graduates who care deeply about people and want to shape stronger, safer, more connected communities. You’ll need at least a 2:2 achieved in the past three years, whether that’s in housing, social sciences, community development, or another subject where you’ve learned how people and systems interact.

If you’re a natural problem solver, a creative thinker, or someone who’s motivated by purpose, you’ll thrive with us. Every day brings new challenges, new learning, and new opportunities to make a difference.

This is a dynamic role that blends office time with field work, giving you real insight into the communities we serve. Expect a mix of two to three days in the office and the remainder out on estate visits, property inspections, and customer meetings.
